No-exam life insurance

Eligibility for fast-track approval, how the process works, and alternatives if you don't qualify.

Several insurers now provide fast-track underwriting: qualified applicants within age and benefit limits get decisions based on your answers, RX history, driving record, and similar sources—no paramedic needed. Approvals may arrive within hours. Our quotes flag whether each product mandates, might need, or skips an exam.

What it changes

No exam doesn't skip underwriting. Answers get verified, and policies based on false statements can be challenged within two years. The carrier may demand exams or bloodwork if its research flags concerns; you'll decide then whether to proceed.

Who tends to qualify

Usually available to applicants under sixty seeking coverage within each carrier's fast-track threshold, with clean health history and no tobacco for a year or longer. Recent medical visits with lab results may substitute for exams at some insurers.

When required, exams typically last twenty to thirty minutes with a paramedic at your Riverbank home or workplace, free of charge. Solid results can bump you up a class, so an exam isn't necessarily negative.
