Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information suffice: your gender, birth date, health status in your words, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and term preference. Name, address, phone, and detailed health records only come into play if you choose to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They're the quotes each carrier submits for the health tier you picked. The actual premium emerges from the carrier's own underwriting process, which might confirm, improve, or adjust your class. Nothing here promises or guarantees a particular price.
What happens when I click Apply?
You continue to the carriers' secure application, which has your answers already filled in from your quote. You're able to pause and return later. You sign electronically, and the entire application is managed by Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed firm (License 0B75129).
Will I need a medical exam?
The carrier, the coverage sum, and your health answers determine this. Nowadays, many carriers can underwrite applicants without exams for those who qualify, relying on application data and records rather than requiring a physical. Each quote shows if an exam is required, possibly required, or not required for that specific plan.
Is a longer term better?
A term should match the span during which your loss would hurt most: generally a mortgage timeline, active parenting years, or the years until retirement. Longer terms raise your monthly cost but lock your rate in longer. The quote tool lets you check 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options back-to-back to find your fit.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote form stores nothing; your email, phone, and address only get collected if you apply. We don't vend or broadcast user data, don't employ ad trackers, and don't use cookies for tracking or analytics. For the full picture on what is and isn't collected, see our privacy page.
